I heard that the game will not run on WinXP.

The computer initially has OpenGL 1.1, all subsequent versions are implemented (or not implemented :)) through its extensions with the drivers of your video card.
So just make sure you have the last firewood.

The question here is not which version is there (because in Win98 and in WinXP there is the "original" opengl32.dll version 1.1, and all subsequent versions up to 2.0 are just sets of "official" extensions of this library implemented through the video card driver), but in which of the extensions included in this or that version, your video card supports.

Everything is fine, I downloaded the Detonator XP 23.11 program from the site http://driver.myweb.ru (it contains drivers for OpenGL (Updated version of OpenGL 1.1 to 1.3) just what you need to play Nuclear Titbit, installed the program, turned on the game, and everything goes (YT) without glitches!
