If the path is blocked, the right-click icon is swapped. In general, pay attention: the portraits of the Persians are connected by a chain, so aim at this chain and click. So you can park them somewhere near the entrance on the loka so they don't get in the way. If everyone is unlinked, you can place them one by one, before the start of the battle, for example.
