Slumo no longer inserts - he has never turned it on, and he is stupid, the robot is slope. I think scary, it will only be for those who do not watch jihorors, their (scriptwriters) attempts are more ridiculous than scary (konddemned2 - rules).

The first news: the graphics have deteriorated significantly. Anyone can be blamed for this, from weak console hardware to inept developer pens. But since Condemned 2 and FEAR on consoles looked much better than FEAR2, we will focus on the second option.
And we will not post screenshots. They are awful. You have to watch the game in dynamics. But you can see a comparison from the developers themselves. Obviously, they seriously believe that FEAR2 has something to be proud of.
Shadows disappeared somewhere. There are almost none. Parallax-Mapping has disappeared from the walls, thanks to which any pothole used to have a natural depth. Now - just a flat drawing. Water has lost its interactivity, three-dimensional waves do not move. There is no clarity, but everything is smeared from head to toe with such a ferocious layer of post-effects that during the battle what is happening is more likely to be guessed. On top of that, performance floats a lot. Basically, it goes well, but periodically sharp drops in frame rates are annoying.
The shootings themselves remained the same beautiful, only the effects instead of realistic ones became pretentious and brutal. A point-blank shot from a shotgun turns the enemy's body into a bloody mince. Explosions of miniature nuclear warheads (they are passed off as grenades here) make the camera shake. Concrete chips, dust, sparks pour in generously. Blind and successfully hide enemies behind them.
Second news: the design has been significantly improved. The impression, however, is twofold. Everything is beautiful in an amicable way (it is difficult to say how quickly the situation changes, the demo version consists of pieces of different levels), but without a twist. The ruined city is ordinary, approved by the Call of Duty Association.
At the same time, the levels have turned into a linear gut without the possibility of choosing a path and detours. What a blow! After all, the game of hide and seek with bots and cunning maneuvers were one of the key features of FEAR.
Third news: they did something wrong with the intellect. Bots are still dashingly jumping through windows, tumbling, hiding, turning tables, turning them into shelters (the main character also learned this sacrament). But the locations are very tiny. And the enemies themselves, as if embarrassed by their abilities, diligently shoot past the hero, react inhibited to his appearance. No joke. Playing on the console. At the highest difficulty level. We killed almost a third of the enemies with a rifle butt.
The weapon is more in line with the plastic toy store. You don't feel it. You don't get pleasure from its appearance and animation. Enemies glow in the dark with Christmas toys. All weapons and items are framed.
Spectacular, spectacular, but so boring that the demo version itself was barely forced to pass, yawning in the finale, when the hero was sucked into a two-legged robot, and he began to trample the asphalt, watering lemmings scurrying underfoot from machine guns.
Analysis
It would be better if the game was simply called Project Origin. The second part is not at all like FEAR. Undoubtedly, spectacular, dizzyingly spectacular during shootings, but all this is so smeared-smeared, and the hero's movements are so smooth and unhurried that all this beauty turns into hallucinations of a short-sighted warrior, from whom his glasses were pulled off. The bots have retained their mobility, but are embarrassed to show their former aggressiveness.
Another game. Another porn shooter to Black's piggy bank, only without his trademark cult of weapons and widespread destructibility. But with periodic glitches and a terrible girl with long hair, which breaks the already not the highest dynamics. [/ Quote]
