Lags in the second mission. (Doom (2016))
In the second mission, fps dropped dramatically compared to the first. What is the problem? Graphics settings did not changeSmileGun
And this is normal for the thought. If you exit the game and start again, the lags will disappear. Doom is so optimized that there are drawdowns even on ssd.
Mewel
Restart, Alt Tab used, lowered graphics settings. Anyway, FPS dropped compared to the first mission. 20 fps even in the hallway.

In the first mission on Full Hd, everything went about 30-40 fps. Now even at 1280x720 it shows 20 fps

Healthy, so you did not answer my question about the profile, you saw my confa. in profile(?)
Thompson1929
Well, what, you said that somewhere I would get 30-40 (FPS), so I wanted to find out, but this is in person (?)
Victor Tsoi
well, you will have at least 30-40 fps, now you need to wait a little while the game is finished and optimized drivers are released and it will fly
Thompson1929
Well that's for sure, and at low I understood correctly, by the way, is it not that I have Windows 8.1 (X64) ???
Victor Tsoi,
when the game is finished, the API support Vulkan, Directx 12 will be delivered, the drivers for it will be finished, you will have more fps, of course, you will even play on average without lags, and 30-40 fps is I'm talking about the current situation, now with the game not everything is going smoothly, so now I do not advise buying the game, it is better to wait, well, but of course it's better to put the top ten, on it DirectX 12 and all that
Thompson1929
Well, I'll think about Windows, but at the expense of the game, I'll still take it offline, so I'll be fine anyway =)
I don’t understand what problems could be with this game? I play at 1080p. With the graphics settings "nightmare", the game is going perfectly, well, it's just not much smoother, people in life do not move so smoothly. I'm serious, no kidding.

Nothing special, a regular PC: i7 4790K, 16 GB of RAM and a GTX970 4G MSI video card.
And when I tried to set the "nightmare" parameters, they were reset to "ultra" again and a warning appeared that I needed 5GB of video memory or higher, but I only had 4GB.
But the game is going so smoothly that I just didn’t believe that my computer would not be able to pull out a "nightmare", I think this limitation was specially made so that people would take expensive top vidyakhi with 6GB and above.
I rummaged through the Internet, found somewhere in VKontakte a way to unlock the "nightmare" settings. I did everything according to the instructions, there you need to write a line in the launch parameters, then in the game in the console you also need to write the lines. I go into the settings and now you can set the "nightmare" parameters.
And they really were delivered, because after I turned them on, another warning appeared, like the fact that the "nightmare" settings were turned on, the system may be harmed, we recommend turning them off, and the options "leave" or "turn off" ... Of course, I left the "nightmarish" parameters and after the reboot went into the game.
I did not notice such special super improvements, but the picture clearly became prettier than a little. And the game itself runs as smoothly as with ultra parameters.
And I’ll say that I don’t think there is anything to slow down, because the game is mainly in tight spaces. The same Far Edge 4 with all the ultra at 1080p. I was running harder than DOOM, I don’t measure FPS, but by eye DOOM is much smoother.

So still a pancake with such parameters it would be a sin for you to complain about anything.
