Increase the number of "War Points"? (Stellaris)

During military operations, it is necessary to choose the conditions for the end of the war for "war points".
And if there are more conditions than points, this option simply cannot be established. Because of this, the capture of the galaxy is greatly slowed down. I have to take three planets from the enemy. It takes a long time.

Is there a way to increase the number of points?

If a potential enemy has vassals, then first declare war on them, but when choosing planets to capture, choose planets that are controlled by their lord, and as soon as the war with a vassal ends, start the next one, but with the lord (or the next vassal)
