What should be the relationship between races in Mass Effect 4 (Mass Effect: Andromeda)
Probably they should be friendly or at least not hostile, the Citadel Councilwill additionally enter the Citadel Council as a reward for a common contribution in the fight against the Reapers, Quarians, Krogan, and possibly rahni and will have their advisors. Of course, there will be disagreements with the Krogan on the basis of the territory, since they have already captured quite a few Planets for their habitation and require a little insolent as a bonus.
Quarians and Getae live in peace and harmony with each other helping in the development of technology. And the Geth are just a role model for other white fluffy ones, now their fleet is the main defense of the Citadel.
Drells are now part of the SCB.
Such an idyll. Bad soil for a new hero. Everyone is doing well, there is no one to save. But if the quarian and the Geth started a new war, the krogan would genocide the salarians and turians, rakhni kill everyone in a row, the asari just stand and go nuts, and humanity, taking advantage of the general chaos, seizes more and more territories. This is where a new hero can unfold, not to break, in the sense of pacifying by the power of persuasion, backed up by the power of arms.

But if the quarians with the Geth started a new war, the krogan would genocide the Salarians and the Turians, they would kill everyone in a row, all this had to be something newer to come up with.
Quarians are dead, the geth are dead, the rahni are dead, the krogan are quietly rotting from the renewed genophage. There is peace and idyll in the galaxy.

In general, they said that there will be a new universe with a new story, plot, hero, with new races. And not a sequel and not a prequel. The new universe, taking into account the old mistakes and shortcomings, will be somewhat similar to ME1, but naturally more diverse and newer.

In general, even if the sequel is about what there to talk about, the idyll will not lead to anything new and good, and the war between the above races will only lead to extinction and then no one is able to stop it. You can make a sequel, but you have to do everything reasonably and not vice versa. Naturally, for a new universe, guys with a new exciting story))
You can make a new threat. Let's say the drells have a civil war, and then our hero krogan and the rebel general of the drell or the general of the drell army (hero / renegade) appears and the war ends and the hero rushes to other corners of the NEW galaxy
everybody died and the bigben exploded because shepard hadn’t gotten the dls with proteanin.
finally, after a certain number of years, arms races and wars between individual civilizations can certainly begin. and so it seems that at the end of the game, none of the civilizations gains a significant advantage, except perhaps for the krogan and geth.
in the end of the control, in my opinion, the shepard can control the reapers ... there is a lot of things to stir up ...
