New Skoda Octavia for the first time caught in the form of a liftback.

In the Czech Republic photospies the first time managed to take a picture of liftback Skoda Octavia new generation. Previously, cameras were only wagons.

New liftback will retain the familiar silhouette of the body, signature line of the side glass and rear wiper. In this Octavia will replace the "four-eyed" headlight on normal, and the lights for the first time in the history of the model "climb" on the tailgate.

It is expected that Octavia of new generation increased in size, and the already roomy trunk will be even greater: the volume will increase from 568 to 610 litres in the liftback and 588 to 630 litres in the wagon.

In the engine range version for Europe will include petrol and diesel turbo engines from one to two liters. Also will be electrified modifications "mild hybrid" with 48-volt on-Board recharge from mains hybrid.

Premiere of the new Skoda Octavia will be held in 2019 in celebration of the 60th anniversary model. According to Czech media, the company will release the wagon, which is more popular in Europe than the liftback.
