Repair ... - Toyota Land Cruiser, 4.5 liter, 1996
So I finally changed:
1) springs + ama from 105 matches (with the old spacers, we got a lift of about 4 cm, just enough for 33 wheels);
2) all steering knuckle gaskets;
3) silent longitudinal rods + front stub bushings (bushings are suitable for Kia Sorento);
4) thermostat + candles;
5) brought breathers bridges under the hood;
6) put in place a plug inside the panel, through which, oh, how much heat was blown out of the car in winter when driving along the highway + cleaned the stove of leaves (see it had never been cleaned there before) + blew both radiators (air conditioner and drygate);
7) engine oil + transmission oil (bridges, gearboxes, transfer cases) + filters;
8) replacement of high-voltage wires (for reference, on 1FZ-F and 1FZ-FE engines, these wires are the same, only they differ in resistance; despite the fact that 1FZ-FE is an injector, it has a distributor);
9) installation of additional headlights Hella Module 6213, mounted (H4, T4W) Ref. 10; additional light is paralleled by a tumbler with standard light;
10) put the carburetor in order, but you need to travel with an additive in the fuel, otherwise everything was coked up a lot;
11) went through all the motors of windows and rear wipers
After changing the springs: the muzzle rose, otherwise the old springs sagged under the weight of the winch; the backside remained the same ... on the road it became an order of magnitude more collected and stiffer (maybe it made sense to put a Touch Dog on the back?! ... well, it's hard to stop)
Some parts did not fit due to my haste and had to be re-ordered. A wild desire to make it faster and test the new suspension in pumps led to the opposite effect: the repair dragged on for a month.
Issue price: 55 000 ₽And mind you, the majority of the people first think about the amount of earnings, and not about the business as such.
And classical psychology rules: if they start to scare you in some way (like it’s urgent, it’s already finally, you won’t even understand it), then you can safely turn around.
In general, yes. As a rule, everything is immediately clear. I saw the best service in Biysk) But far away) Although not, in Moscow I know one person who deals with bridges and boxes, he really loves what he does. And, accordingly, he does it at the highest level. There are queues for him for 2 weeks in advance ...
And yes, one conversation is enough, a look around, look at the mechanics and everything is clear in principle.
when choosing a service and repairmen, it’s better to rely on your feeling: if you have trust in a person and are comfortable in the service, then you can overpay - but your soul is calm and you spend money for joy :o)
Well, it's not the worst deal. It’s worse when you give it to do, and then you realize that everything is done through F and you have to pick up the car until it gets even worse ...
To start work, I even had to change the master and service (the previous one is getting old and health is leaving)
