I always wanted a high-quality sound system in my car and I envied the owners of such a white one leafing through various magazines about music and tuning. After the acquisition, X decided to realize this dream, for which the following components were purchased:
- Pioneer DEH-P88RSII is installed as the head unit.
— the front decided to make a two-way: Hertz HV 165L speakers and DLS UI1 tweeters
- and all this is connected channel by channel to a four-channel amplifier Audison LRx 4.5 4-channel black
- DLS wires and a lot of corrugations, fuses, Shumka and many, many more all sorts of things necessary for installing high-quality acoustics.
Before installing all this, my friend downloaded the rules for auto sound competitions from the Internet. From these rules, which were taken as a correct instruction, we have learned many new details for ourselves, which are taken into account by the judges at the competitions.
After all this, the car and the above rules were transferred to the safe hands of a good master.
In the toga, only the front doors were noisy so far and podiums for the speakers were made. According to the rules of the competition, all the wires are stretched into the corrugation and accordingly distributed throughout the car. An amplifier is installed in the trunk.
With the installation of the head unit had to suffer. Instead of a regular one, I didn’t want to change it, since the general unified view of the panel was violated. We decided to install in a free space under climate control. But the catch is that there is still a door that I did not want to remove. In general, everything was cut, a frame was installed, the free cavities were soldered with plastic, and the irregularities were corrected with plastic putty. Topped with textured vinyl. In general, it turned out nice
I didn’t rejoice for a long time, as my tweeters were covered - they burned out (the wrong amplifier setting affected + I listened loudly to music, got carried away).
In this connection, the opinion of knowledgeable people is interesting, what new ones can be purchased, within 10,000 rubles, in order to ideally play in conjunction with the above components?
Over the winter, spring still needs to be in time:
— Mount the newly acquired tweeters in the A-pillars;
— Purchase a subic for 12 and an amplifier for it (And again, a question for the experts, advise which subic and VCL will be more in tune with my acoustics);
— Make a beautiful panel for amplifiers in the trunk, so that everything would be beautiful;
— If necessary, partially rustle the trunk and rear doors;
— to make a box for the subwoofer, but here in general the idea is special, I have not yet seen an analogue of it anywhere).
There is still a lot of work, but this is all in the future, and now I'm really interested in your opinion and advice ...
From the beginning, I wanted it to be correct and of high quality, to calm my indefatigable soul, and then it became interesting what result could be obtained at the competition, so after the implementation of everything planned, it would be possible to roll up to neighboring cities.
It’s interesting that I stuck my head in, I want to at least stick an equalizer there, but for a good processor head, and also so that it’s beautiful and not stucco :)
The approach to installation and the location of the GU is very competently and subtly - the taste and desire of a person for perfection will stand out

as for 2DIN, it depends on the person, I had 2DIN in stock, foreign production

for someone it is a completely on-board computer, but with all options they distinguish light, and personally, when riding with all these options in the evening and at night, I did not experience any discomfort, compared to the same Camry, where the light from part of the torpedo is very disturbing, besides, there are special functions on such a technique that dim the light or angle, but here it’s convenient for anyone ... but about the fact that 2DIN is inferior to 1DIN in terms of sound quality, I completely agree, all the gadgets, the screen, and most importantly, the internal amplifier itself interferes or, say, does not give the maximum result ...
so, if for competitions, you need to take a GU without an internal amplifier, so that the signal comes out of it without changes, but with the help of external amplifiers, create it the way you plan ...
and I won’t start a discussion, these two brands cannot be compared, it’s like comparing Pioneer with NAD, Marantz or similar brands that are tuned to music from the very beginning, Pioneer is a company that doesn’t have its own developments, it takes stuff like Matsushita and tunes it to myself.

The fact that everything that was done during the sale did not pay off, and when I told my friends about the plans for music, they all asked again as one "how much are you going to ride it." I understand that everything done so to speak is only for me and to calm the soul.
As for the GU: which is better Alpine or Pioneer, the discussion is long and I won’t start it), and 2DIN intentionally didn’t want to install it because I had played enough with the anthological one already in the previous car, in the evening the light from it interferes, the video distracts from the road and most importantly 2DIN is no good for quality sound and for competition.

A long time ago when I had a car Nissan Cefiro 32 body (in my profile) I invested 70 tr in music. and today this is my only car where that kind of money was invested, the explanation is simple, when selling I had to almost tear out everything that I installed, since the buyers, as one, said that they only listen to Mayak radio and the price tag for equipment was asked to be excluded and on n- th such a conversation and had to do, sold everything in parts, Shumka, wires, boxes left with the car as useless and worthless trash)! but it was an introduction to nothing non-binding, so for reflection!

before that, I had the experience of owning two brands, Sony and Pioneer, the first one was a show-off, it played perfectly (as I thought), the second one was less attractive, but for some reason a lot of settings and for a true music lover it was a real gift, and according to numerous beliefs low was more interesting than similar equipment in this class! but I sold the "head" along with the previous car and had to buy something new. Well, I like how it plays, well, I also like Pioneer, it's .well, then the last one is better and shows us the most expensive one! We take! and he asked us slowly to place an order the question that he should have asked initially: how much money do you have? well, we have, we don’t want to save on the “headâ€, I had 30 rubles in my pocket, but they decided to spend no more than 10 on a head (I’ll make a reservation, I write in the plural, since I had a friend, so we made all the purchases with him) So, he tells us to look at Clarion then, we were delighted, the budget was violated but we didn’t care much, we, like Rocky for cheese, listened ... whispered, take it, wrap it up! pulling the sample from the stand, he asked a question that I will remember for the rest of my life: do you want to listen to the real sound?! even cooler, how, where, why, but the feeling of curiosity and our natural essence squeezed the word YES out of us in chorus ... then I remember counting money at the checkout with a smile on my face in all 38 teeth ))) it was an Alpine CDA-9851R and on today I am sure that this is the best thing for cars, I had to listen to music again! Therefore, I would advise, but I feel too late, to take a 2DIN type Alpine IVA-W502R,
Subwoofer:
Alpine SBS-1241BR + Alpine MRP-M352 single-channel amplifier to it (I could be wrong, a lot of time has passed), but in this bundle they were perfect!
Rear:
I put Alpine SPS-69C3 3-way coaxial acoustics (without an external amplifier) ​​the one that was in the "head" 50w on their channel and pumped them, they were on the sub-sound so that the sound was uniform, but the fronts gave the most basic sound
Front:
here I still could not restrain myself and took Sony Hi-End class speakers (I honestly don’t remember the name, but something like Sony XS-GTX1621S, with tweeters and crossovers)
all this at a volume of 70% made the hair on my head straighten out, and immerse you in a trance)) and the most interesting thing is that at a sufficiently high volume it was possible to speak and hear the interlocutor, and not yell to hear, this is when you wanted to listen and say something so as not to make it quieter))) something like that!
yes ... and yet, I screwed the amplifier from the subwoofer to its back wall, and attached it to the cover in the middle in the trunk with two double-sided Velcro, and the pot looked at the exit, it was convenient that if once you were all in the cabin if you are going to carry something long and stick it into a hole in the back sofa, then this whole structure can easily be moved!
