Donor. Pull out the motor. h_2 — logbook Toyota Mark II 1990
After some break related to work and housework (I insulated and trimmed the balcony), I decided to continue to deal with the car. I talked with my father-in-law, he agreed to help me and even agree with a friend on a Gazelle to bring a crane to remove the engine and then pick up all the junk from the garage. While my father-in-law was solving my problems, I went to the garage and began to prepare the car for removing the engine. First I removed the exhaust system.
Then he disconnected the front of the cardan.
And I decided to listen to the sound of 1G-GZE without a silencer))
There were some oddities)) I slammed the driver's door and while I was shooting under the hood, the central lock closed the car. The roar was incredible from the operation of the engine, and I ran around and thought about how to get out of the situation. First you need to turn off the engine! I started to take off the terminals from the battery - it's useless, then disconnect all the sensors - it's useless, it rumbled like a helicopter! And finally, I opened the fuse box, took out the first one that came across, and lo and behold, the car stalled)) Now it remains to open the doors)) I have experience in this matter, since the sister's Focus has been repeatedly closed with keys inside. At Toyota, this is even easier to do, since the doors are without frames. We put the terminals on the battery, slightly squeeze the glass and open the window with a metal wire, here a brake pipe from some basin came in handy, since there was no wire. As a result, he opened the car and continued to work. I drained all the fluids, pulled out the radiator, battery, intake. I unscrewed the hoses from the gur, unscrewed the wiring from the generator and starter, unscrewed the switch, gas cable, etc., in general, everything that prevented the engine from being pulled out. Then he climbed into the cabin to disconnect the motor scythe from the control unit.
Remove the panel cover.
And we get to the block. By the way, it is located much more conveniently than in the 90 body!
Then carefully pull the scythe into the engine compartment.
Then it was useful to disconnect the fuel system and unscrew everything from the box.
Then my father-in-law pulled himself up with his friend and helped me remove the hood, then they began to unscrew the box from the engine. We unscrewed the torque converter through a special window, then unscrewed the pillow and it sank down a little, then using tricky adapters unscrewed the mounting bolts and threw off the box. I removed the engine mounts at the same time.
Well, the engine is ready for evacuation)))
They rolled up a crane and began to pull out the dviglo, then they loaded everything into a Gazelle and took it to another garage for storage.
Emptiness)) now you can prepare the engine compartment for installing a new engine)
But the engine was registered in a new place)) There are children's toys nearby so that the son gets used to the beautiful from childhood))
In conclusion, I express my deep gratitude to my father-in-law Nikolai Aleksandrovich and his friend Igor for overwhelming help in such a difficult matter)) We spent 4 hours on everything about everything!
I never cease to be amazed and admire your perseverance! Not everyone will decide on this, but you are great at this - you set a goal and now you are achieving it. Well done!
