Multimedia navigation system - Toyota Land Cruiser, 4.2 liter, 2007
The TV player installed by the previous owner has been replaced with the NaviPilot multimedia navigation system.
Pretty handy and functional device with a touch 7-inch WGA TFT screen. Which of the functionalities I would like to note:
- built-in 20-channel GPS module;
— DVD, CD players, TV, radio;
— USB input and slot for SD/microSD cards;
- Bluetooth speakerphone with the ability to play music from a cell phone or other devices;
- media applications for reading books and viewing a variety of media files.
Of the most requested for me are navigation and media functions.
Navigation is implemented from programs loaded on the map. At the same time, two programs were installed by default - NAVITEL and IGO8. When entering the navigation mode, you can select any.
Conveniently. that there is a remote control, because. it is problematic to hit the rather small buttons on the screen when the car is moving.
I was pleased with the "picture in picture" function, which allows any application to launch a second application in the form of a second picture. It is convenient, for example, to listen to music, while following the prompts of the navigator.
So far, I have not found any obvious shortcomings and jambs in the system. As the operation will write about the impressions.
Issue price: 40 000 ₽Strong thing! I like the ability to run two applications at once in modern MMS! :)
And it looks like a native — beautiful!
yes ... a hurdy-gurdy is what you need ... however, it is convenient! and it fits into the interior as if it should be so ...
the same thing I’m thinking about something similar, but I haven’t decided yet ...
in my understanding, the screen is needed a little higher than the dashboard, so that the view of the road and attention to the screen is not very distracting ... otherwise, you need a navigator ... and when the navigator is a sleepyhead ... somehow, probably, about this ...
I have a regular steering wheel. And if there was, then it works with this mm. :-)
And how did you solve the problem with the multi steering wheel? As I understand it, it does not work with this MM system?
THX. I ask because now it costs Avik 900bt - but when scrolling through the map, it noticeably slows down. So I'm thinking of installing a PC or buying something like Navi Pilot
No, everything works fine. If I need to scroll a lot, then I turn off the satellites, otherwise there is a return on the map to the location. :-)
