Acoustics, the first step! — Toyota Harrier, 2.2 liter, 2000
From the regular acoustics, I was generally shocked, not only was there no sound, but also an autopsy showed that there was a cardboard with a glued magnet (made in japan).
I installed Herz DCX-165 composite speakers in the front doors. Two-way coaxial speaker of the Dieci range, consisting of a 165 mm woofer, a very good DT 16 tweeter and a special crossover. The equipment is zero, no grilles, no connecting wires, one HERZ sticker, and that one is apparently to be attached for advertising purposes and not for steepness, so to speak ...
I evaluated the sound quality comparatively, switching the sound either to the rear doors, where the staffs are still standing, or to the front ones. Only the deaf will not hear and appreciate the difference. I was pleased with my new acquisition, I don’t use the rear staffs yet, so as not to spoil the sound. As for the subwoofer, it’s not ready yet, from time to time you have to use the entire capacity of the passenger compartment for transportation ... and even with a head unit, you can’t achieve 100% effect. Install a new one, too, kapets, either drill under the control unit of the conder and order a frame, or build up a pocket above the torpedo ...
But about the rear doors, I would be happy to listen to suggestions that you can stick in so that they sound great without an amp ?! :)
In the rear doors and stick these speakers, and on the front they are the same, only 2-way (yellow) series ... I finally have 3 yellow stripes - they play at 5 with pluses ... and I would advise you to connect everything through your own amp, which is a little to the right the steering cardan is located (in the knees) ... I have a zhbl uselok there, it crashes at 100%
Take a picture, plz, if you don't forget. Very interesting to see and compare with your own.
I’ll shoot (change) the rear ones when it gets warmer, I’ll take a picture, seriously, the sound is not the most worthy, I decided not to display the frequency drivers separately, but put something similar back, I bought a woofer in the trunk, so I’ll update the whole topic as everything will be assembled.
Weird. I'm not very strong in high-quality music, although I can easily distinguish a shitty sound from a worthy one. In my Chorus, everything is (t-t-t) in order with the sound. Even more. When for the first time (before installing the AUX input) I plugged in a Vivaldi disk and bled the system, I was more than happy with what I heard. Not only was there enough power with more than a margin (you can arrange a disco or a small open air on the street with an open salon), but in addition to this, the sound turned out to be extremely clear, rich and, in my humble and unprofessional opinion, practically did not differ from expensive ones " brethren" as intended.
In any case, I do not claim any expert opinion. No pics of stock speakers left? Purely out of curiosity, I would open my columns and compare.
