When I was repairing and repainting the bumper (in summer), I decided to immediately add a mesh in order to protect the "internal organs" from pebbles and other debris and add aggressiveness.

A grate about a meter wide (plus or minus 10 cm) was bought in a car dealership, bent and screwed with self-tapping screws (after which it was painted along with the bumper).
