The history of ADONIS Technology began in 1998, when the Lyon OPEN performance team was looking for a specialist who could optimize the performance of the engine of their Toyota KZJ90 T1, Toyota's first electronically controlled engine.
Emanuel Balte, an electronics engineer and big fan of motorsports, took up the challenge and, with the help of a friend, designed a similar device. One year of work in the evenings and weekends brought results - when tested on the track near the Lastours castle, the device provided a power of 214 hp. and a torque increase of 15 m/kg for a 1KZ-TE 3 liter engine.
In subsequent years, Balte expanded his activities and in 2001 founded ADONIS Technology in Toulouse (France). ADONIS Technology products are designed to increase engine power. It is used not only on civilian cars, but also on cars of participants in rally raids and the Dakar marathon. So, in 2004, the cars of 9 crews participating in the Dakar marathon were equipped with devices from ADONIS Technology, and in 2005, the car Toyota Land Cruiser Prado KDJ120 with a 3-liter turbodiesel engine, using the chip " ADONIS Technology won the Rally Raid World Cup.
ADONIS Technology chips, installed in addition to the original control unit to increase power and torque, affect a number of parameters such as boost pressure, fuel delivery, fuel consumption and air consumption. In order to manage all these parameters, the ADONIS Technology chip processes and corrects the signals sent by various sensors that enter the original control unit.
Due to its design, the ADONIS Technology chip can be turned off if necessary and the car will work as a standard one.
When installing an ADONIS Technology chip, on average, fuel consumption is reduced by more than 1 liter per 100 km.
