Kengurin - Toyota 4Runner, 2.4 liter, 1993
Today I bought an old kengurin, but in a fairly good (by my standards) condition. Kengurin is definitely not from my model, but from Mitsubishi Pajero or from Toyota Land Cruiser? Historically, you don't understand. In fact - a frame tubular structure made of stainless steel. It does NOT fit on the fasteners (a little wider), so in any case I will have to modernize the fasteners and make adapters (but I’m a handy guy, I have welding, a grinder too, this is not a problem), I’ll work on it in the new year. I persuaded a man for 3500 tr, but to hand over 500 rubles. He did not find change, only 300, in short he squeezed another 200 rubles, to hell with him. It would be possible to lower the price even lower, given that the kengurin is not new, dirty, shabby, scratched, I actually don’t need ears in front of the headlights, there is a dent (I’ll knock it out), but I didn’t bother anymore. Looks not bad, the only thing that confuses me,
We'll have to do the fitting, polishing, fixing dents, in short enough hassle. Stainless steel is perfectly polished, almost like chrome (at least I think and say so).
In general, like this :)
But I'm still satisfied, a good gift for myself on the eve of the new year! All with the coming!
Cool! :) Well, if it sits normally in width, then it’s definitely not from a cruiser :).
We are already thinking about fastening. But as I already said, they haven’t done anything yet, it’s not the season to bring charms, it will be warmer there and we will decide what to do with it.
Fasten better. At my friend's stump, not a serious accident, the kengurin lay on the hood. On the contrary, he saved the Rabbit. I bent mine on ice and trees, if the runner is used for its intended purpose, then it probably makes sense to strengthen it from below with an additional pipe.
