Changing the brakes — logbook Toyota Avensis 1999
It actually crashed.
The car went to stock 14x disks, and for the type of fashionable racer, the wheels must be correct and my friend Yurka gave me 16th ditski from the seeder. Of course, they had to be put in order, corrected, sandblasted, powder-painted in an ordinary sparkling metallic.
The beauty! But here's the nuance… Sudden braking and the ABS doesn't even work, and the pads floated… And since the same Eureka had more than one Kaldos, the solution matured by itself, the front two-piston calipers from the GTT. They learned, searched and bought this kit from Vlad for mere pennies, and since the brake discs had to be changed anyway, the used budget was more interesting. The kit included: steering knuckle, hub, discs with virtually no wear, support, ball, one brake hose, ABS sensors, anthers and it all cost 4500r. Delivery cost 1000 rubles. - 42kg - by a transport company. It came in handy from the kit: calipers, discs, pads, brake hose (the second stsuko was simply cut off, I had to leave the standard one and bend the mounting bracket to the rack. The steering knuckle itself is somewhat different from Kaldos, namely the steering tip mount, on Vienna from below, on Kaldos from above, but if you wish, you can put everything. Anthers remained regular, just had to bend them a little.
And here it is a miracle)))
