Updated) — logbook Toyota Auris 2007
Yesterday the rear pads squealed. So today I went to Toyota-West to change them, and after one more series of improvements! As a result, they didn’t change the pads - they said that it’s still possible to ride with them, because the creak appeared by chance and one-time (something got wrong or because of frost). Changed:
1. brake fluid DOT 4 (530r + 1025r work)
2. spark plugs K16RU11 (432r + 372r work)
3. SLX 5W-30 oil (2058r) and oil filter (395r + 466r work)
4. alternator belt 4ZZ ( 3604r + 373r work)
5. added SUPER LONG antifreeze (193r)
Finished in an hour and a half)
After the "update" the machine generally somehow went differently!) If not mine!) Starts up faster, reacts very sensitively to braking and adding gas, eats a little less gasoline) It became even more pleasant to drive!) =P
Issue price: 9 853 ₽ Spare parts Spark plug K16RU11 DENSO, TOYOTA LEXUSkalugka
The instruction book says that it generally needs to be changed at 45,000 km, but they didn’t change it ...) So I decided that this time it’s worth doing) by the way, in my opinion, the minus of Toyota (Auris, at least) is that that MOT needs to be done every 5 thousand km ... Jazz, for example, had a much longer period (if my memory serves me, then every 10 thousand km)
There was AURIS, then after 10 t km
In general, Auris, like all Toyotas, MOT every 10 thousand!
It says so in the service book, I am serviced both in the East and in the West, and no one has ever told me about MOT after 5 thousand ... that would be nonsense, in my opinion.
In general, I looked here ... for some reason they twisted me at the number 5 ... I don’t know why! = R TO every 10 thousand!)
Hmmm...maybe I got a glitch at number 5...it will be necessary to look for sure tomorrow...)

=) Yes, under warranty) In between, something is simply checked there, it doesn’t necessarily change) To be honest, I don’t do MOT every 5 thousand km - there’s no need) I service in Toyota West)
Is your car under warranty? It seems strange to me to do MOT every 5 t.km, Oil is still changed every 10t.km. what to do in the interval then?!) you have 45t.km Shas it turns out you were with them 9 times?! what did they do each time? Of course, this is none of my business, it’s just very interesting, and if it’s not difficult, tell me where exactly you service the machine, in which Toyota ?!
Nuuuu ... everything, of course, is possible) However, they told me about the brake pads that they should not be changed, but they did not say about the brake fluid) How could I check whether it is worth changing it? Is it possible to do it yourself?)
It's strange, I had a Camry, I did MOT every 10,000 km, don't you think that you are being pushed into this ?! Replacing the brakes will not be superfluous) Shas, too, how they will change it, I’ll wait for the new brakes) ))) ) )
