Hand-made manual transmission cover — Toyota Cynos, 1.3 liter, 1999
From the previous owner, I got a very carbon monoxide cover for the manual transmission lever - it was made instead of the regular one from ... a denim jacket, or maybe from denim trousers))))) Well, under this dzhinsovka there was an old "native" cover, wiped in two places.
So, having traveled like this for almost a year, I decided to return a decent look to the case. For a start, my wife's leather coat was used))).
Well, about 2 hours of monotonous work. It is very annoying to sew the skin with a needle, which you hold with pliers)))
Well, you can see and evaluate the result.
The last photo is a denim jacket.
At first I didn’t read it and thought that you put jeans on the contrary :)
I still can’t sew myself, I’m looking for white skin!
Damn (I wanted to obscene), and you're right, I'm exhausted, up to 2 thousand pieces of skin :)
Well, if you want fashionable white leather with some sort of tint, then just buy leather for 300 rubles in a second-hand store - it’s definitely enough for a case.
Jeans smiled - all the same, creativity lives in our people and does not want to die :)
It seems that the previous owner had nothing but a denim jacket when the cover was torn under his hands.)
So to say, it will be exclusive. I saw an Audi TT with a denim interior in Moscow - quite unusual)))
it turned out well, but as for jeans, for a long time I had thoughts about completely remaking salt into jeans, but it would not be practical, though original
Jeans would have looked unsurprisingly in some of our boxes)) but not in Toyota) thank God that I changed :)))
