I shared my thoughts with my father-in-law, and he offered his ideas on this matter and the work began to boil. I removed the stock pads from the 1g-gze motor and took them to him for study. It seemed to me a little heavy at first glance and I took the scales and measured the weight. It turned out to be 2040. Which is about 2 times heavier than the stock pillow (It weighs a little more than a kilogram)

Therefore, we decided to lighten the design and bring it to a finished form.
To begin with, we weighed the lower part with clips of silent blocks. It turned out 1185.

By using thinner-walled cases, we achieved a weight reduction of up to 922 g.

The top bracket has also been lightened. It originally weighed 618 g.

After simple manipulations, it became 478 g. Moreover, two brackets turned out to be ideal in weight.

And in fact, the weight of the pillow itself has decreased from 2040 to 1625. But this is not the limit and the design will be finalized later, and road tests await it!
