First MOT and diagnostics. — Toyota Celica, 2.0 liter, 1995
There was no time after buying the car and after 4000 km, I still managed to do maintenance and diagnostics. Diagnostics showed that the car is in an extremely well-groomed condition and did not reveal any stocks. As it turned out, the Selick is much cheaper and easier to maintain than the Civic. As for the prices for consumables, they are very pleased, the front pads are Japanese 1000 rubles, the oil filter is also Japanese, the price even shocked 50 rubles)))), Japanese air filter 350 rubles, original Toyota candles 110 rubles a piece, well, Castrol oil synthetics at the company from my sister took 4 liters at a discount. 1000 rubles. In general, the maintenance of the Celica 202 is an extremely pleasant car, combined with an appearance that is VERY attention-grabbing, and I was surprised that most passers-by and motorists do not understand at all what kind of car it is, thinking that it is probably something very expensive , to my mind, for most consumer qualities, it is better not to find a sports coupe)))) In the nearest future, the installation of the already purchased Japanese Pivot sensor, in general, is a necessary thing in principle. Also, closer to the summer, if everything goes well, I really want to put Lambo doors)))
Issue price: 3 900 ₽Yes, spare parts are really inexpensive. Subu will be more expensive) Put lambo doors, it’s very interesting to see what happens. Good luck in fulfilling your desires
I heard something like this, I myself had something similar on the Civic, but from the present my sister had only Castrol, everything else was in question, thanks for the advice.
Oh castrol castrol. I advise you to think carefully. Look at the pictures of my engine in the BZ. The reason for this is castrol. And this is not my first acquaintance with such consequences. The car, bought new, after 5 years of infusion of castrol, was also coked.
I take Agip, at their gas station, in Leningrad near the Moscow Ring Road. No one will fake it :)
half a year ago, I changed 6 hydraulics when replacing the chain. They are like new now. True, the hydraulics need to be changed, and not partially, which will be done now :)
Yes, fig knows, for the time that I drive it, and this, in my opinion, is more than 4000 thousand, which I wrote and when I took it was half a level, I added only a liter, we'll see)
Do not leave Dimon all this. The Castrol about which they write is actually not bad, but simply forged, and that's it! Buy from trusted sources and you'll be fine. In general, try pouring Motul next time, my oil consumption has dropped significantly! Yes, and according to tests, it is better than Castrols and Mobils of all taken.
Let's see, I still have 10 thousand before the next replacement, there I will already decide what and how)
A liter is normal for these engines and with such mileage. It's even very, very good + consider your driving style! If I do not twist over 4 thousand rpm, then the consumption generally decreases significantly. And I also noticed both in myself and Slava that after replacing the new oil, the consumption, even with a less active ride, does not fall until the mileage reaches 3 thousand km! And then the oil darkens (well, that's good) and the consumption is more and more. My oil is eating up from replacement to replacement (7-8 thousand km) now 1 liter and on Mobile it was a little over one and a half liters! But this is true with very frequent cut-offs, etc. In general, the minders told me that our motors love to eat oil, and with our runs under 300 thousand km, this is generally ridiculous, since most motors would not have survived such figures at all, but with our style driving then a maximum of 150-200 thousand. km and for a bulkhead, well, if you take for example most of the new cars from the Lachcheti series, Focuses, Golfs, etc. And with oil, listen to advice and try, I think you will be happy.
