Suspension repair - Toyota Corona 20L 1993

Recently, I began to feel very strongly that a rattle had increased from the front, as if something was dangling. At first impressions, the steering tips. The further the worse, it became noticeable that when driving not fast, the steering wheel rotates from vibration (it does not look like unbalance). It has already become a little scary, because steering is no joke. I decided to go to the service station for diagnostics. In general, this is a separate blog entry.
Everything is as usual, eggs, tips, rods, stabilizer bushings, that's what they said in the diagnosis, from both sides.
In order not to sit out your pants, and not to waste money, it was decided to do it yourself.
Well, almost my own;)
Kolya, my faithful friend, comrade, and colleague rolled into one, with me after the slave to the garage.
Having previously bought a full set of spare parts for the wallpaper, as bequeathed by the STOshniki.
Disassembled, I can say not for long, the right side, with the exception of the drive nut and the upper ball nut, on the left I had to sweat, the eggs (finally I found out what it was :)) had to be cut down, because the internal thread of the 6th hexagon was torn off: (
But 30 minutes with a hacksaw for metal, and they are in my hands;))) For
some reason, the left-hand thrust nut was larger than the specially prepared key that we have, but Kolya, oddly enough, unscrewed it.
As it turned out, the left side was all alive, and it would have left at least 40 thousand more. The right one was gouged - ball, tip, thrust, although the stabilizer bush was intact.
They swore not censorship when they looked at the left side of whole parts.
Duplicates were purchased, tk. funds were only for them, and even 15 thousand before I thought it was too expensive (original).
On the first evening, we removed the old parts, and managed to put in some new ones (right eggs, left sleeve).
Here we unexpectedly found out that I forgot to buy steering tips. It was decided to postpone the remaining repairs until tomorrow.
We continued the next day.
Everything is bought and everything is delivered. Problem: the tie rod anthers suck on the rail. Half an hour of my torment yielded nothing. Kolya spent 5 minutes and both anthers are in place;)
You cannot spend on drink experience ... The most important thing is to reduce the wheels.
They were taken in the back, of course it's all by sight. We need a similar collapse, otherwise the rubber is kryndets, but we gave the car to Kolya at the beginning of the repair to his wife (as Kolya said, we burn the bridges to do everything today and leave on mine), and the time was already 10, so we went to "me". Silence, nothing rattles in the front (floating ones are thundering behind), only the bent protection clings to the disks and makes unpleasant creaks.
But it doesn't matter, we'll fix it.

Sometimes you have to fork out to remember the thrill of long-forgotten sensations! A funny saying: eggs (finally I found out what it is :) I had to cut down, ... and they are in my hands;)! I still don't know what kind of eggs and how scientific?
