My mark was a zapadletse with a casing. I set it to 1 mm, kickdown began to disappear less often, but this did not fundamentally change things. He turned on rational thinking and admitted that in 16 years the cable could be deformed, namely stretched. As a result, I put the cable mark on 3 mm from the casing and voila, the kick down works like a watch, and the shocks when shifting gears disappeared altogether.

On my cars, I pulled the gas pedal almost to the level with the brake pedal, but the assistant must look at the opening of the throttle, otherwise the cable can be broken.
