2. Breathing: Intake-Exhaust - Toyota Sprinter Trueno, 1.6L, 1998
Release - to replace the standard system, a clumsy direct-flow exhaust system with a flame arrester, a resonator and an HKS can was temporarily purchased and installed from the tubers,
which was later replaced by the Apexi track. Since this route is, in theory, from a catalyst - and I did not want to put it on a regular one, a removable (in case of buying a direct-flow catalyst) insert was made from a pipe of the same diameter. The exhaust manifold from FGK came from Yapi (internal holes 39 mm) was wrapped with thermal tape and painted with thermal paint, but since it turned out to be not from the 20 valve, it was necessary to modify it with a file to get it up, and that is not so simple - when installing it, the oil filter is tight closed with a pipe - for its transfer - a whale with a cooler was ordered from Ibei. Therefore, the exhaust manifold is waiting for the cooler to be installed and put aside.Intake - first, using a ventilation corrugation, I made a system for introducing cold air from the hole for the fog in the bumper (up to the standard box with a filter), later he made a heat screen and put the original filter from the Honda S2000 through a hard pipe, right behind the headlight, on an empty place after transferring the battery to the trunk, while the cold air supply remained from the same place - straight to the filter.
In the standard receiver, pipes were purchased and installed, height 40mm, entrance diameter 50mm, material D16T, I'm thinking of ordering a 20 mm spacer for them later - how to try to compare 40 and 60 mm their work at their own speed.
