Repair and painting - Toyota Carina ED, 2.0L, 1996

I decided to write where it began, in fact, the styling of this car!
Once this EDshka was white, or rather the color was factory white mother-of-pearl, but after I did not enter the corner at a decent speed, the machine needed a good repair. In an accident, they suffered: the door, the rear wing, the front wing, the glass of the door flew out (by the way, it was saved by the tinting. The glass did not fly around the cabin, but neatly turned out to be on the asphalt), a little bit of the roof.
Sorry, but I won't post a photo of the accident itself, it hurts too disgusting!
So there you go!
The door had to be thrown away, I ordered a contract. She pryla dark red color with glass, trim and window regulator. She left me 4500r. The only problem was that she came from Axive. This means that the cladding and one rubber band under the glass did not fit, otherwise everything is perfect.
How I chose the color I described in the description of the car.
My beauty was in the service for a long time, because I was stupidly made brains with deadlines.

In general, straightening and painting took 9 months, exactly like the birth of a new person. )))))

Because I disassembled the car myself, with the help of my older brother, it was not a problem to assemble it.



I wanted to prod it completely, but then I abandoned this idea, I did not want to give the car extra weight, and I think that it was not in vain. While the car was in the service, I polished the headlights, painted the disks and panels for the interior (it’s better to do something, besides, I’ve had my hands on this topic for a long time).



Also, ALL bulbs in the cabin were replaced with blue LEDs.

Everything except the door was aligned.
Later I tinted all the grilles on it. After how many years Iashina stood for repairs, they all zardaveli. I had to go through the metal with a brush and spray paint. There was no way to remove them, because in the manufacture of the bumper, the nets were tightly pasted.

A few months later, I decided to muddle up something else with the disks, they looked too creepy, like dogatki straight. )))). I decided not to draw anything on them (because I could not find at least a temporary replacement for them), but simply cut out neat strips on the oracle, pasted it on and it turned out very well. When driving, the wheels turned yellow-green. It looked awesome.

The machine turned out to be very strong, at first glance you will not tell. You can say she saved my life, for which I am very grateful to her.
In the last photo, my swallow is on the right. And on the left is the same Lexus ES300 that my brother bought after my accident. I'll write about him a little later too!
