Spacers, part 2 - Toyota Corolla, 4.4 L, 1980
So, as you may have guessed, the spacers have finally been carved for me. However, due to the lack of sufficient material, there are only 2 pieces so far. Two more are promised to be made in the week.
Here is such a spacer turned out :)
This is it, screwed to the hub
Here is the disk.
And this is a disc :) The
costs are as follows:
Manufacturing 1 pair of spacers with turner material - $ 20
Nut for fastening to the hub (8 pieces) - $ 8
Wheel stud from VAZ-2121 Niva, rear (8 pieces) - $ 5
Wheel nut (8 pieces) ) - $ 12
Total - a pair of spacers with fasteners cost me $ 45 ...
It seems to have saved a little. :)
Oh, yes… I made spacers not 20, but 25 mm. I'll install it on the car this week. I wonder how it will look :) Price tag: 45 ₽ Mileage: 0 km
Congratulations! And my friend and I on Miat ordered 5mm spacers from his aluminum, the studs do not need to be changed. The thicker ones were afraid not to overload the bearings. How much will it cost - I'll let you know when they will do it. What material did you make?
By the way, I am looking for a set of discs, as I have in the pictures: sport 5-spoke alloy 15 "x6" 40 4x100 - very light native discs, suddenly at least one pair was lying around.
Mine are made of steel, heavy ... It's dumb to make of aluminum ... suddenly the metal won't withstand ... And it's not difficult for me to change bearings :) I've
never met such disks. There is no one to ask ... MH-Fifth we do not have any
Are spacers purely for removal or with a change of drilling for discs?
Up, I already understood what's what ... :)
Good spacers turned out but it was all the same made of aluminum ...
But for me, they also cast billets from aluminum and turned 2 pieces, it remains only to remove the chamfer at the holes for the nuts and lay out the report.
