Punctured the wheel and changed the hairpin - Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, 2.7 L, 2007

Punctured the wheel and changed the hairpin - Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 27 L 2007

As I was told, the Prado hairpins break very often. and this fate befell me. during a tire change (I wrote earlier) one hairpin burst. today was at the tire service. there was a puncture of the wheel. and at the same time changed the hairpin. the hairpin itself costs 500tg (100r), but they ask to change it 2000tg (500r) + paid 500tg (100r) for the puncture repair and spent a balloon with foam filler to get to vulcanization. in short, do not take all this garbage, it is written will raise the pressure to 2.4 atm and the pier is poured into the tire in a minute. nefig. poured 20 minutes and tried to fill in different ways. and in reality the pressure rose to 0.7 current, which was enough to drive 2.5 km to the tire fitting. I didn't take off the spare tire and I don’t know how to take it off. here everything is smart with a spare tire. you need to collect the key, then remove the spare tire, then change it, put your wheel in the trunk, do it and then somehow fix it from below, disassemble this key. and it’s easier to drive 2-3 km on a half-deflated. Than so I caught a spike such an aluminum as a tooth specially sharpened can be seen by tire changers

In general, everything was done everything is ok, the machine is back in service =)

here is a different system, you open the 5th door, the tailgate in the door has a glove box for repair keys, among them there is a kind of key consisting of two parts, you collect it, after that there is a rivet in the trunk connector, you open it there, insert the key, hook the handle of the twist mechanism with the key hook the spare wheel winches and you twist, the spare wheel is thus lowered to the ground on the winches, the reverse operation is also done)

The spare wheel, if I'm not mistaken, is removed in the same way as on the landing. It hangs on a loop under the trunk, a chain secures the wheel to the loop, i.e. just threaded through the loop. You just need to lift the wheel and pull out the chain, it will be more convenient if you lie under the car.
