That the total sales of cars in Russia and on the Greek Islands?
After talking with the sellers of cars in Athens, it became clear that the car is much more difficult to sell than to buy. The biggest problem is if the car is on the island, then the seller will have to take a word that in our time practiced very rarely, or the buyer must go to inspect the car personally, and it's a lot of wasted time.
There are times when the seller is so confident in their "product" that is ready personally to bring to the meeting hoping to leave, or rather sail away, back to the island with pockets full and without wheels.
It so happened that I never bought a car in another city, but in my environment there were many exciting stories when people went to the other end of the country to purchase the right machine. Often these stories ended well but was accompanied by many adventures in the process of transporting the purchased car back home and some ended before it began — the real car did not match the published online photos. As a result, to the disappointment added a lot of wasted time and money.
Imagine the reverse situation in Russia is very hard — I've never heard of stories that someone from Vladivostok or at least Peter brought the car to Moscow to demonstrate to a potential buyer. Hardly anyone dares to this, partly due to the fact that in our understanding the buyer needs to do, and partly because of the exaggeration of the condition of the car. Risks to go back to the car large.
Out of curiosity, I decided to try out the delivery process the car buyer and went to the island.
With all my travel experience I have never transported a car on the ferry and decided to try to sail for a larger island. It is interesting that many of my followers on instagram have been sharing their experience from different countries, it will be interesting to hear yours.
First, I decided to try to buy a ticket over the Internet, but it was not so easy, or rather do not understand, and thought it best to go to the port and at the same time, to know everything on the spot.
First, I accidentally drove in the wrong part of the port, where they sold the tickets to Crete, but knowing that to swim in this popular tourist destination all night, I said, where you can get faster and cheaper.
The closest was the island of Aegina with total area of 77 sq km, which is only an hour away from Athens — that is necessary!
Round-trip ticket for one day for a car + 2 people cost € 80.
The next morning I got up and beforehand went to the port, but on the road it was a total surprise — torrential rain accompanied by small hail, and that in the month of March in Greece. When I told the guy from the reception of my hotel, he didn't believe me.
In port I went with mixed feelings, the weather was clearly not suitable for the trip, and I had this planned, didn't want to waste neither time nor money for a ticket, and I arrived in port in the hope that the ferry will cancel and reschedule the flight for tomorrow.
But the guys at the port was very quiet, helped me to put the car, pulled the ticket and sent upstairs. Do not be surprised that little machines, I just arrived too early. Surprisingly another machine does not record even in this weather, I was not even asked to put in gear and the handbrake, although it is quite logical.
Area passengers much more comfortable than I imagined, it offers comfortable sofas and coffee tables, cafe with sandwiches and drinks and other amenities. Access to the upper deck is open, but in this weather no one came out.
As they approached the island, the weather improved and gives me hope that the day will not be lost, and the island was much bigger than I imagined.
Other passengers began to descend to the cars and line up on the cars in the queue before the ferry docked, and then leave him with a squeal of tires — a startling impatience!
I was sure that he would come on a tiny island, put the car and go for a walk on foot, but as it turned out, there is something to see, and I regretted that did not take the return ticket at a later time.
I must admit that this is a very unusual feeling to come to the island by car.

Navigator was also a bit in shock.
The sea, as you can see, quite worried, but the weather improved and even the sun came out.
In the next part I will tell more about the island, that it can see and how the locals live.
I returned home in the evening. Car in the port began to gather in advance, many have met someone and immediately left, someone left a car at the port and boarded the ferry on foot and only a small part went to the mainland with me.
Back to the BJ was not so boring, about half of the ferry was quickly filled, and they added a couple of trucks. By how easily engaged by the passengers and staff of the ferry, it becomes clear that it is an ordinary transport for the Greeks, on the bus ride.
It was a very interesting experience, to deliver a car to the island and back is quite fun, and now imagine that you have to do it every day. How many times will need to go to the mainland to buy or sell a machine, or how many Islands you will need to visit to find the right vehicle in good quality or buyer for a rare car?
And then it becomes clear why companies like AutoMarin there are real petrolhead unlikely to turn to it, and ordinary users, they can help find the right machine and save a lot of time.
The level of trust to the "message boards" on the Internet falls because no one in their right mind would tell about all the shortcomings of the car, but do you have enough experience to inspect the car carefully enough and study all the problems?
And let's imagine that you're holding a truly unique car in good condition and you want to sell it more expensive – what are the chances that you believe the word? That is why they are forced to carry the machines on display.
Many private companies offer their services, but their qualifications also require confirmation, it is difficult to trust the person you is also found on the Internet, like the car.
Car auctions has changed the way car sales, guaranteeing customers the highest quality diagnostics, and our sellers the highest possible price, thanks to the simultaneous demonstration of lot dozens or even hundreds of potential buyers. And, of course, is a huge time saver for both parties.
To prijaviti this format in Greece will require not less time, than in Russia, and not know that it is easier to transport cars by ferry to the Islands or on the trucks on our roads?
Here is a sample expenses that are waiting for owners after the purchase:
Vehicle tax in Greece is not tied to horsepower, as we do, and to engine size, which in theory is logical, because they aim to reduce emissions. Here it's not easy, the volume is not rounded to liters and are collected in the table in CC, for example, possession of a car with engine volume from 1739 to 1928 will cost 320 euros per year, and from 1929 to 2357 — 690...
The law allows you to pass the plates, after which the tax will not be coming, and the car can be sold as anything but to take her to the meetings will not succeed.
Machines older than 4 years will require inspection every 2 years € 50. Insurance depends on car, driver experience, etc., with an average of 250 euros a year.
More interesting on instagram!

* tax engine [is]
* tax on fuel there [is]
* tax for use of highways [soon to be]
What's next?
Honestly, I'm willing to pay if the road surface is good to very good condition. Thus calling any risks or dangers, as well as saving time and money on repair.
Without inflection of course.
But I'm not willing to pay, as in some States, to drive on crappy roads
on the brain... being smart is not profitable, people prefer to sit at home, watch TV and suck the public teat

The tax depends on the type of engine? We Germuska such a tax for diesel, the Benz will be three times less. Inspection and insurance is twice as expensive, last too it depends on many factors.

It is strange to link the tax to power and volume. The tax must be included in gasoline — the more you burn, the more go
So here in Ukraine, tax in the fuel.
Manu
and how? better?
when you pay the tax amount was chaos: has a grandpa car, which is 2 times per year hay carries and pays the owner of the jeep.
Or small farmer has GAS-53 on which month of the year harvest carries (actually 10 days). Pay as the owner of six hundred. And if a raspayevka got an ancient MAZ-500, or God forbid, the KRAZ with its 15 gallons — — EVERYTHING!
I do not remember.
"...since 1 January 2011 the transport tax is included in the excise duty on fuel, whose rate increased from 132 thousand euros per 1 kg of fuel to 182 euros. In 2011 changed the payers of the transport tax and tax on environmental pollution. Now he will not pay the vehicle owners, and distributors of gasoline, diesel fuel, liquefied gas and other fuels, — said E. Vlasenko. – This innovation aimed at social justice in relation to the vehicle owners – who travels more, he pays more. Collected to the state budget the money will be spent on road repairs. General Director of LLC "Atan-Crimea" Alexander Tereshchenko has informed "Cafe" that is projected to increase in prices for light petroleum products. They can grow to 1.5 UAH.
Source: kafanews.com/novosti/2563...t-benzina_2011-01-12" 1,5 UAH at the exchange rate of 2011 was $ 0.19$
I think that those who do not travel in winter or goes a little better. Again, 20 years ago I had the 116th Mercedes 3.5 liter gasoline, a little more than 200 HP and my friend has a 123-second 3-litre diesel, about 90 HP — the tax we paid to the volume, are almost identical.

We did so and included the tax in the price of gasoline.
Well screamed that the trucks ruining the road. And Plato and excise to be removed. But then friends brejneva gesheft have not.

Well, in the Baltic sea no Italian, and Finnish in the Mediterranean. And which is better? In North order more. Everything is clear and organized.
In autumn we went to Italy. It was quite a lot of ferries. In Helsinki-Lubeck, Genoa-Palermo, Palermo-Naples, Lübeck-Helsenki. It's great to reduce the mileage on the roads. Combines a hotel and moving. Saves time. The money is not much more expensive than on the ground. In Italy, for example, a very developed way of moving.
Many used the ferries. Finnish, Swedish, German, Italian, Greek. Very comfortable, you Sleep in the cabin, resting, and taking you)) The brothel of ferries by the way is Italian)) for example just after the Finnish thrash what)) Do the Italians do not depart on time...although come on schedule)
If you look closely at the photos pointed out, you will notice that the inscription made around the place which is at an angle. There are already common sense says to put the handbrake)
"I was not even asked to put in gear and the handbrake, although it is quite logical."
And on the wall of the ferry written ...BRAKES ON.(seen in the penultimate photo). Read the instructions — it is quite logical. But...
Write in detail about the ferry company and sites) and from Russia nothing is clear where, how) if snakes it is easier to port to go)
in Greece and Turkey by car on the ferry ride — how to call MC drive :)
PS the handbrake on-and then on a flat bet. Otherwise, boom-boom, the wheels are round...
and in case of a real storm must be some catches-shoes...
In case of a storm cars raskrepljajut straps through the brackets (the round yellow in the floor). But live will never see, as this work is carried out after loading and removed before unloading!
Three. Three fool. The third one holds the candle and then the whole Ivanovo screaming about it.

No one in their right mind would tell about all the shortcomings of the car?! Always when selling spoke about the shortcomings, though they were few.
as they say in the market two fools-one sells the other buys
Why difficult? The car was sold only their own, business they do, the sense that something not to finish? Because only the owner knows all the weaknesses, etc. And when selling, you need to indicate to them that the buyer had no complaints and frustrations, otherwise should not be.
No one in their right mind would tell about all the shortcomings of the car?! Always when selling spoke about the shortcomings, though they were few.
Interesting. But I am a decent person, always spoke about the shortcomings in the sale. I sold my vehicles a lot, if you follow it, and sell it as your own, no reason to lie. And the price installed the appropriate state. I have many customers using time thank you said. All returns to this world...
With naloloka right — logical. But interestingly, their insurance, like, our insurance also does not compensate for the damage if the perpetrator will be without insurance?
"Insurance average 250 euros per year" ... it's "from". semi-hull ~500, fully comprehensive insurance I am sure about 1000 of euronav (and that depends on the car). The price of the text is likely car on a budget.
tax right the Greeks did — from the volume of the engine. In Switzerland as well — but without the table, just cube worth X francs — then arithmetic. 2.0 liter Saab costs about 250 euros a year (tax) — ~10 francs per cube
