to see a doctor — logbook Toyota Caldina, 2003
So by July 2010, the machine ran 30 t.km and survived two winters in harsh Siberian conditions. So I decided what's going on with the engine and suspension.
At first there was a diagnosis of the engine and fuel system, by the way there are problems with it, but I found a reliable service. From the initial complaints: a slightly increased consumption, but idle speeds have begun to dance recently. After checking, the autodoctor strongly recommended:
- clean the recirculation valve
- wash the injectors and immediately change the fuel filter
- do something with the generator, due to the high amplitude of the current
- clean the throttle
Plus it's time for another oil and filter change.
Then I went to the suspension specialists: the stand showed that everything is working fine, the racks are surviving the last winter, at least they should be able to do it :) Replacement pads after the summer.
Now you need to allocate time when everything needs to be done,
then the next step is to check the automatic transmission and pump out money from the family budget again.
