c160 -> e58 -> c160 — Toyota Corolla Levin, 1.6 liter, 1999

in general, they put the 160th box back yesterday, for a while until the installation of the chager motor, before that I put the 58th in order to test how it is in general, whether it rattles, etc. 58th is in good condition, nothing crunches, everything is clear, the outer CV joint crunched - replaced, everything is fine, BUT it is really difficult for the aspirator on it, firstly 58th is longer, secondly it is much heavier

the box itself weighs about 10 kg more
in it 4 liters of oil (in the c160 - 2 liters)
each drive is 2 kg more
flywheel weighs 7 kg

now the car really knocks on a stock engine, with a stock manifold, there was no time to install HKS, everything was done in a hurry

I also dismantled the disk lock along the way, it turned out that there were 3 regulating plates, and it worked very early, besides, it was in 2way mode, left one plate, set it to 1.5 way mode

I put the TODA clutch kit from ae86, the flywheel is 3.5 kg, while I ride and enjoy the ride) today I'm taking the crankshaft from the new engine for balancing)

clutch toda organic from the 86th, works well, nothing slips even on slicks in 40 degree heat (although I don’t start from the cutoff)
