Required investments - Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 30 L 1998

With all the advantages of the diesel Pradik, it has one very significant disadvantage.
It's cold in it in winter. When driving, it is warm, comfortable, but once you stop, the temperature drops in a matter of minutes. Diesel does not heat up without load, either you drive or you freeze. I suffered one winter, froze, and with the arrival of the next autumn I decided:
I put one way out for "Webasta". After talking with the managers of the installation centers, I found out that "hydronic" is the same thing, only the price tag is more loyal. In general, I installed this very hydronic, and the heating of the front seats at the same time.
And here are the first frosts. Do you need to be in the car? We press the button and that's it! Hydronic maintains the temperature of antifreeze in the region of 60-70 degrees, the heat is like in a "lighter". Issue price 50 tr. Fuel consumption of course increases, but it's worth it.
I do not recommend pulling the fuel line out of the tank. at very low temperatures, it freezes on the move. I put a T-piece in front of the filter and hooked the
Hydronic pump from it . "Certified" installers tried to tell what was wrong, they did not want to lose a client who, after every severe frost, came to
erase the "no fuel" error. I did not believe them, and as it turned out I did the right thing.
Good luck to all of you on the road!

Excellent, happy for you!
The main thing is not to freeze.

Operation with hydronic increases the engine resource, I also start at minus 35, but the interior warms up only after the start of the movement, I never tried to gas at idle for half an hour at 3000 rpm. On the move, the hydronic fuel line freezes if pulled from the tank. There is a tube of very small diameter and if the quality of dt. will let you down, then kirdyk.

well, it depends on the frost overboard, at -20 maybe Tashkent, and at -40 I would not say that Tashkent, for some, the engine temperature drops at idle with a stove, something like that.

I have never come across the fact that in winter it was cold at idle in the cabin, always Tashkent!
