Tomorrow was the war. (part 1) — Toyota 4Runner, 3.4 liter, 1999
Continuation of a story.
09/09/2007 "Black date" in the life of this car.
The trip to the sea ended as soon as it began. On the 23rd km of the M4 highway, in a gentle turn, I got into a depression filled with water. At 90 km / h stuck in the bump, flew off into the bus. None of the passengers were hurt, my hand ached a little from the steering wheel.
The verdict on the repair was as follows:
Rama - hushed up.
The steering rack is broken.
The steering knuckles are bent and cannot be repaired.
Right upper arm — bent /not restored/.
Steering tips - tied in a knot.
The right front shock absorber is broken.
Rear axle — axle shaft bent.
Wheels - 2 - rubbish, 2 scratched.
Of the automotive body was not affected:
Rear door, hood, roof, false radiator grille.
All glasses are intact.
Optics:
Headlights, like intact.
Front dimensions — broken.
The rear right headlight is broken.
With SUCH damage, the car drove home on its own.
Recovery history will be later.
