Flushing nozzles with removal. — Toyota Ipsum, 2.4 liter, 2003
Well, here I go, first post.
I already posted this entry on the drome. But I think it might be useful for someone here! So it won't be redundant.
It all started with the fact that the car stopped keeping the speed, instead of the prescribed 900 tons, on a warm car 400-600 and an unpleasant vibration appeared. It was decided to flush the injectors.
Tools:
— Device, the production of my uncle, he made for flushing nozzles on his Hyundai accent.
- A pair of keys
- Carburetor cleaning fluid, advise ABRO (80-150 rubles), but HI-GEAR (250 rubles) was used
- Three pairs of hands.
Elapsed time 40 minutes.
First, remove the decorative cover:
Next, unscrew the two bolts that hold the ramp. (The ramp is behind the engine head)
Next, remove the nozzles from the detached ramp, disconnect the plugs.
Nozzles:
Next, we move on to a home-made "device" that supplies voltage to the nozzles to open them. The voltage is supplied through a series-connected light bulb (15 watts), necessary to reduce the output voltage to 9 volts, instead of 12. (Such voltage at the injectors)
Adapter from canister to injector.
Here, in principle, everything is ready. Now open the nozzle by periodically pressing the button and feed liquid into it. You need to achieve a lush cloud. After washing the nozzle in this way, we leave it to “turn off†for 15 minutes and repeat this operation several times.
Personally, at first something incomprehensible escaped from the nozzles. After three washes with an interval of 10 minutes, they worked like new. As a result, the engine began to work like clockwork. Not to say that the vibration completely disappeared, but it became much less, the speed rose.
Note:
- Be sure to remove the rubber seals from the injectors so as not to tear them.
-The second name of the ramp is the fuel manifold.
-When you insert the nozzles back, the o-rings must be lubricated with engine oil.
-And do not open the nozzles for more than three seconds. They can burn out (so they write) Although we opened, due to inexperience, for 10 seconds - it did not burn out. But it's better not to risk it!
That's all, hope it helps someone!
Issue price: 150 ₽ Spare parts Wheel brake cylinder, rear axle 400600 REMSA, VALEOThanks! I just don’t understand when people pay 6,000 in a service for flushing, when you can do it yourself in half an hour + an unknown result at the service! everything is 100% here
Well done, I described everything qualitatively, I already read it out of interest) Respect that I didn’t drive to the service! I think this post will help a lot of people
thank you, a lot of useful information ... I also decided to check the action of the carburetor cleaner (there is no time to paint!) if you are interested: www.drive2.ru/cars/toyota...4899916394579336518/#post
Yes, it's a familiar process. did the same thing last year. RPM dips began to observe and climbed to wash forces. bothering removed and washed KXX, BDZ and DMRV. replaced the tips on the coils and ALL vibration is gone.
PS According to the book, the turnover on our "males" is 650 plus or minus 50
