Accident on the 13th in the first snow — logbook Toyota Celica 1992
Wednesday, October 13, a little after noon, Sevastopol Avenue. Accident as in the book — asshole accident.
Unregulated pedestrian crossing, rightmost lane.
Priora slows down to the floor (the pedestrian is still on the median strip), the first snow, a little downhill, in short Selik does not slow down at all. Further, as in bowling: I stop - Priora flies 15 meters away.
back side photo:
the frame of the previous photo included a Zhiguli (in the lower right corner) - this is a car with an inspector at the wheel, without special signs / coloring, but with a DIGITAL CAMERA inside. Those. our accident, we tore him from "work".
Selick was upset:
I immediately climb under the hood — to understand the scale of destruction. I keep a fire extinguisher ready.
The main radiator remained intact, so I left on my own.

After removing the bumper, amplifier and right intercooler radiator:
trying on a new cooler fan:
cooler radiator old (with holes) and new:
the radiator turned out to be from the penultimate Audi RS4, so it cost me a pretty penny. It is noteworthy that the new radiator has metal sides, while the old one has plastic ones.
the left cooler heatsink and fan survived:
The regular engine radiator was covered with a thick layer of dirt.
it was dismantled and cleaned.
new cooler heatsink installed:
Straightening the hood:
First they jumped on it in three, the final straightening, one by one
Almost completed:
Toyota frame died in an accident, I had to use the one that was:
Threat all friends admit that in the event of such a blow from Mazda3 there would be nothing left. What strong machines used to be built! Priora has a crease on the roof, wings and bottom.
Good luck to all! be careful on the roads!
Damn, I saw your accident ... when I saw the Selick I still remembered you ... it's good that everything cost relatively little blood. ps By the way, the same traffic cop was filing an accident with an obruchev for me (where they gave me a rear bumper)
well, not pleasant, but the iron is repaired and it is intact, and this is the main thing
oh, and tin, I myself recently staggered into the hangar for 40 km, so just not a scratch, strong Selicks all the same
