Tell me ... - Toyota Celica, 2.0 liter, 1997
I want to paint my baby in a different color (red mother-of-pearl), tell me where is the best place to do it and how much will it cost?
Hey! It is better to paint with a good painter you know. The cost depends on the desired result - you can paint directly on top of the old paint with minimal preparation without disassembling the car (this is the cheapest option - as resellers usually do in order to give a bad body a marketable appearance and quickly sell the car ... by the way, your car was apparently painted approximately according to this technology - even in not very clear pictures you can see that the car is broken on all sides - after a good painting you can’t visually determine if it’s painted or not) but you can, of course, completely disassemble then completely remove all layers of all paints and other coatings down to the metal itself, then eliminate everything defects and only then paint it humanly, and then, of course, reassemble it again ... this is a very expensive option! as a rule, mere mortals follow the middle path.
