Left-handed JDM. Toyota ED/Exiv/Curren and more — logbook Toyota Carina ED 1993
It would seem where is the left hand drive? These are cars for the Japanese domestic market. However, as it turned out, this is not entirely true. It looks like Toyota (and not only) produced them in limited editions for some markets with left-hand drive, in different bodies. Who can guess which country?
There are a lot of photos, here is a list of left-hand drive cars. If there is interest, I'll post it.

So, judging by the photo, the handbrake was not touched, the panels look like native ones, the speedometers are up to 180, the power windows on the driver's doors are as expected, the wipers are correctly configured, the knobs on the seats are on the right. But in terms of optics, the question is open - it’s not clear where it shines ...
And for a snack:
What's this? ;)
justOleg
They threw it, of course, but on what a grand scale!)
I remember that before the transfer was "two cars, two pumps", - jdm was given to the services - and whoever does the coolest wins. and the very first alteration (in each issue) was — on the left hand drive, and then music, painting, etc.
It can be seen that this is due to the fact that not a few people have altered their cars)
I got what you mean. Given the attitude of the Japanese to the quality and safety of their cars (especially the 90s), it is unlikely that they exported unfinished cars. But there are a lot of such cars, I don’t know what it is connected with.
I wanted to say that maybe it was the owners of these cars who gave them to throw the steering wheel, and not Toyota itself did it all
no speech! well done, that at least some movements are made towards the left rudder! so to speak, left-hand drive with your own hands))))
That's just the point, the alteration on the part of Toyota is not global - they turned the penel, but the wipers. The joints of the panel with the doors do not match perfectly, the handbrake is on the right side, there are jambs with the panel somewhere, and a lot of little things. There is even a block with a clock in the panel from the right-handed one. I'm assuming this is a local dealer initiative. I just came across a photo of about a hundred Toyotas from the list, the scale is impressive.
ed and exiv in 200x bodies all homemade! there is a handbrake for the right steering wheel and the glass control panel is clumsily stuck!
on the 11th photo you can see the instruction on the visor on the right, and not on the left, and in the same place on the right on the door there is such a large plug where the power window button is!
exactly, from a rock. Well, everything suits me, but the English girl has a shortage with spare parts) Vladik is far from them, there is nowhere to get a contract)
hah the last one with optics from a rock) mutilated, I think ... and you, what did you think about having a snack on yours?)
the handbrake is on the right side ... yes, on the new Mazda 6 it is on the right side, apparently they were also redone ...
Soria, Taiwan is part of China, then yes, there is a left-hand drive. I always confuse them with all sorts of Singapores)
Taiwan has a lot of left-hand drive. kolesa.kz/a/search?cat=au…s[_sys.hasphoto]=&x=0&y=0
and here is www.biauto.tw
lat. america ey here probably homemade
they are from Latin America - Peru. they are very much loved there. Taiwan is right hand drive.
well, they produced seeders for different markets, everything is factory-made, without a collective farm
there were also left-handed seeders, but everything was done smartly there! It will do for Latin America, Japanese quality is on top!
Moreover, they made a wild monster for the Yankees - a curren with a muzzle from a seeder.
Why didn't they write the Civic? also left-handed in Japan did. I can even throw off the VIN code and a photo of the salon
Surprised, however, it’s already wild to look at the unit / ex with left-hand drive)
Yes, and Toyota tercel were left-hand drive and prul) and also questions where the headlights shine. The speedometer markings are also up to 180. Although, yes, the tercel hatch / sedan is a Corolla 2 in fact
