Chevrolet Silverado Diesel will reach buyers in the fall

The current Silverado is in its fourth generation. It was submitted in December 2017 and got a new platform Т1ХХ. Gasoline engines: 4.3 V6, 5.3 V8 (two versions), 2.7 Turbo and V8 6.2 impact from 289 to 426 forces.

A story about a new modification of the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Diesel the Americans did not start with claims on the best efficiency in the segment, but simply stated that it was "comparable with some family sedans". All-wheel drive version of the Silverado with a diesel engine also looks good on the background of the diesel F-150 with four-wheel drive. Consumption on the highway/in the city Chevrolet is 8,11/10,23 litres/100 km and Ford — 9,4/11,76 respectively.

Passport the third competitor pickup Ram 1500 with 3.0 EcoDiesel V6 engine (263 HP, 651 N•m), not yet published. Of the trio he will be available for purchasing later. If diesel Ford already sold, but Silverado 1500 Diesel will go to the first customers in the autumn, the market launch of the diesel RAM is slated for the fourth quarter of this year.
