I continue to disassemble (there was one divided into two :) - Toyota Crown, 2.0 liter, 1991
So ahead of the most interesting — the removal of the body from the frame. preparatory stages behind
Removing the body is not an easy procedure (probably 600-800 kg), this weight can only be carried by the reliable shoulders of friends (for which HUGE thanks to them). So, half an hour of discussion, expression of opinions, followed by disputes and criticism, and fifteen minutes of groaning, and now the frame lies next to the body.
Next, the frame, along with the suspension, engine and gearbox, is waiting for a sink, and the body is getting ready for experiments with the design of the front end. in general, to be continued ...
I didn’t take off the doors because I wanted something to be stored in the cabin, otherwise work on composing the muzzle would begin - there would be a lot of dust, and then the elongation stage. and so the guys are healthy without any problems re-contoured :)
So maybe it was worth removing the doors to make it easier to operate with the body? It seems to me that one figs you will have to adjust them later.
As I understand it, you will connect 2 bodies and not lengthen one, because. judging by the picture, the central pillars will be duplicated for you (I think this is a very good idea) ?
