HBO junk: or how they checked the new suspension :o) - Toyota Land Cruiser, 4.5 liter, 1996
Sedney took the car out of service. Fortunately, the service is geographically located in the industrial zone on the edge of the city, then we immediately went along with the service-man to check the new suspension. Frozen puddles, winding cargo primers (bridge clung in many places), rear-wheel drive (full was not useful) showed that the suspension is good! …
But! ... decided to go back, and he hop! and stalled (on gas) … we sit and think about how to explain the route to us and who to call to drag us along these “roads†… we suffered a little, spat and switched to gasoline — FIK! it won’t start ... again they tortured the carburetor clogged with Russian gasoline products (it’s been junk for a long time and I can’t find a master in our city on them), after 10 minutes the engine started ... started! and returned to civilization.
At first I thought that the gas ran out after two weeks of standing in the service - it means that somewhere in the HBO system there is a hole through which the gas escapes ... I got upset. But having arrived at the gas station and having thought aloud with the tanker, they came to the conclusion that the tubes were clogged: since 15 liters of current got into the tank ... anyway, go to the gas service!
Conclusion: in autumn, money falls from pockets like leaves from trees!
Gas comes from different manufacturers (we have local, Tatar, Orenburg): accordingly, different deposits have a different composition, in some places there are a lot of impurities, in particular sulfur (pipes are clogged), hydrogen sulfide (embrittlement of metal and rubber with subsequent destruction). In addition, the gas is "bodyazhat" - as a result, the car does not pull well on such gas.
it’s clear that it won’t be a Toyota anymore ... and even install from ZIL or what?
I won’t say about the frequency, but there is such a topic on the Toyota forum - everyone decides in their own way.
I’ve been hedgehog with my problems for the second year - tolerable ... right now I found a person (a neighbor in the entrance) who understands they-engines and takes not expensive.
Those who deal with Russian carbs do not undertake - they offer to put Russian O_O ... and others, too, because of the alleged complexity of the device: yes, there is a lot of stuff there, but it works.
I gave it to the service to do an electrician, at the same time clean and regulate the carb ... then the turn will reach HBO.
The wife is already squeaking about spending the family budget: o)
