Installing springs from Prado ... - Toyota RAV4, 2.0 liter, 1999
Literally half a year ago, I installed new Ravyvsky rear springs (non-original) as a result: the other day I loaded the back of the car by 200kg and without driving and 100m one of the springs burst, apparently the springs were ha-but.
Well, knowing some people who put springs from the UAZ on the equal, I also decided to put them, in general, having traveled around several stores, I found a couple of springs for 1200r, bought it, went to put it in the garage for my father-in-law.
Arriving at my father-in-law in the garage and telling him that I want to put springs from the UAZ, he answered me, but you know, I have new springs from the Kruzak 70, they measured them with the UAZ ones for the same length, but the UAZ has a much thicker coil than the Kruzak and thinking that all the same, the suspension should dampen at least a little bit, they decided to install it from the cruiser, especially since on the cruiser the thickness of the coil is identical to that of the Ravovsky one, only the coils are more than on the ravine and the landing is the same, the only thing had to be filed a bit and that's it.
In a nutshell, I can say: the front springs from the UAZ (goat) fit on the back.
And from Kruzak 70, ideally, the rear springs stand up.
Feelings: the butt became stiff but at the same time it absorbs, which cannot be said after the installation of the UAZ ones, in general I am satisfied! + The spring was made 2 cm longer, the butt did not rise much.
