Kapitalko)) - Toyota Corolla Levin, 1.6 liter, 1994

Since they took away the license for exceeding, I decided to get rid of the oil consumption. Combine business with pleasure, so to speak))) A
start has been made. date 09.09.2007

Kapitalko - Toyota Corolla Levin 16 liter 1994
after opening the head, it became clear that it was not clear to me what kind of oil was poured into the engine, everything was dirty brown (((
Having disassembled the engine by screws and bolts in a couple of evenings.
They took the block and knee for measurement. The craftsmen said that everything is in tolerances, buy standard pistons, rings , inserts, etc. When I ordered
spare parts, I started to wash the engine.

It didn't want to wash it off with gasoline and solvent. I had to look for chemistry ... After chemistry it turned out like this.

And how did you launder the cylinder head? I cooked it in boiling water for an hour, with acetone-gasoline-carbcliners ... what I didn’t wash - but I didn’t achieve cleanliness like yours (

Mamik is engaged in amway. I took a gel for cleaning gas stoves. the thing is very caustic, you need to work with it with gloves.
A couple of times it gets on the skin and starts to burn sooo much.

Gone but not for long ... as it turned out quite recently the capacity was collected a little wrong))))

is it gone? :)

the gaps are really very small, in principle, as on all Toyota engines.
If there are large gaps in the liners, then there will be no oil pressure, respectively, at high speeds there will be not enough lubrication ...
If there is a gap between the rings and the pots, then the oil will eat (well, this by itself.) The
dynamics did not change much, and the goal was to eliminate the oil burn ...
The car changed after installing the mechanics))))

What do they really say that Levin's motors are very "shallow gaping"? And how did the dynamics change after the bulkhead and engine break-in?

duck these are only spare parts…
I recently took spare parts for black metal 12500 left.
I do the move myself.

for 10,000tr I would do every day ... it took me 30,000, I haven't even finished it yet. half a year already doing :)

everything was measured.
the wear was within tolerances.
only this capacity I have already killed)))

oo so it is. kapitalko is called if you change the dimensions, you have a bulkhead :) :)
