Photoset (by GND): MR-S, autumn: two days before the snow fell, part II - Toyota MR-S, 1.8 liter, 2003

by GND MR-S II Toyota MR-S 18 2003

Hello dear friends-drivers! As promised, part II. Today, in the descriptive part, I will tell you an incident that happened during the shooting, behind the Scene, so to speak :-)
The day of the photoset turned out to be full of various events for me. When we were preparing staged shots near the Yantar stadium, an overly “active” grandfather approached us (you see, he used to be some trade union organizer and has not been able to stop since then) with a statement that I want to knock him down, no more and no less. He also insistently demanded that we leave here, otherwise he would call the traffic police. Of course, we did not go anywhere and continued the photo shoot, because. there was so little time. To my grandfather's credit, he kept his word. After about 20 minutes, the patrol "ninety-ninth" drove up with flashing lights and sirens, everything was as it should be. Her appearance was completely inopportune, but the situation was sorted out, the guys turned out to be adequate - I explained to them what Drive 2 is, that we are holding a photoset, and all that.
Later, in the evening, I looked at my driver's license, it turned out that it expired on November 4 (I remind you that the photoset was carried out on November 6). I involuntarily thought about how quickly these 10 years have flown by. Of course, the very next week I replaced the certificate, I do not deny my guilt in delaying the replacement deadlines. However, the leadership of the traffic police should think about how to organize a system for notifying motorists about the expiration of their certificates in advance (in social networks, by E-mail or SMS) - I think it would be useful. After all, this measure would make life easier for both drivers and traffic police. Let me remind you that driving a car with an "expired" driver's license is equated to the absence of such and entails a fine of 2500 rubles.
Well, okay, it's time to move on to the photos themselves, although you probably already looked at them :-). In any case, enjoy watching!

Maybe I'm a little idealistic, but it seems to me that the traffic police should help (including inform) us, drivers, and not vice versa. Well, it SHOULD be so! After all, by and large, we do not need a driver's license, but the traffic police, because. this small piece of plastic (or laminated paper, whatever) by itself does not affect the driving skill in any way.
Thank you for rating the set, the photos really show the stairs (emergency exit).

From my own experience of dealing with the traffic police, in most cases I agree with you (unfortunately for us).

It should be but not obliged, I tell them it’s more profitable to rip us off than to spend money for what we didn’t give back! In general, it’s sad that we pay for everything that is possible, but we don’t get anything in return ...

I forgot to mention that that photo where incl. headlights!

Here's something else you came up with! =)
It's easier for them to fine us than to incur losses for the notification)

Yes, everything is simple and convenient. I wish the plastic was better, but this is not visible in the photographs :-)

Thanks to! In fact, I really like the combination of white wheels in body color, if I change them, then either on TRD T3 monoblock or Rays TE37, white, of course.
