Wash, winter tires, TermoTec — Toyota Celica, 2.0 liter, 1992
I switched to winter wheels a month ago, right after my accident. Early, I know, reinsured, as they say.
The winter tires came with the car.
These are my first compound rims and my first…studded tires.
Thought it would be worse. Over the roar of the engine and the exhaust of the spikes is not audible. If you do not slow down to the floor, then the difference with Velcro is minimal.
Since the wheels are R15 195/65, i.e. a size larger than the regular ones, the car became 2-3 centimeters higher — a real ZHYP.
In the same period, my DR happened and friends from work gave me this thing:
It looks and feels very thin.
.which was immediately implanted under the hood:
because for the autumn-winter period I have a short inlet — it doesn’t look very good.
BUT, it works. the pipe, even with such poor-quality winding, is really COLD!
What is especially important for me, because. the radiator fan blows on it.
