New and old surprises. — Toyota Corolla Levin, 1.6 liter, 1999

Surprises began to appear almost immediately after the purchase. First of all, these are racks: when buying, TRD was declared, but it turned out to be a dead stock on the TRD supports, then it turned out that the wheel bearing was dead (non-critical, replaceable), then I accidentally looked closely and realized that the distance from the wheel to the arch at the rear on the right is greater than back left about a finger. After the first car wash to and it turned out that the rear right fender was lapped.

I’m still thinking about what to do with the racks, but I already have dead TRDs sculpted, maybe I will restore them, or maybe not. AT the expense of the rear wheels ... It turned out that the car still not only fought with its face, but a week after the purchase, its former owner had a curb sideways, after which the entire suspension on the rear left was replaced, but, apparently, something was left unfinished (asked with friends, many people have this with cars and they all scored, but I want to do it).

And here it is a new, almost fresh surprise. I delayed a little with the replacement of the wheel bearing, but yesterday I still took it and went to the service to change it. It turned out that the bearing (ordered by frame on the BZ-R) is 4mm in diameter larger than the mounting hole. After a couple of calls, I learned another piece of news — the left fist is from 101 body O_o. Fortunately, last night a fist from 111 was found, well, dead TRD, thanks to the destru, without it I would be scared to imagine what a price tag for a simple service with a car on a lift (there is a bearing in a fist from 101 in Moscow time, but the delivery time is 3- 4 days)
