A sore point about tires - Toyota Avensis, 1.8 liter, 2002

Guys, help with advice, experience, who rode what in the winter, what to choose, spikes, non-studs, they say the second one is noisy, but it’s clearly better on ice, Velcro is better on wet asphalt and snow, in general, I’m very confused, but I want to buy the same not bad tires, it got to the point that I read goofy reviews from people about Nokian, in general, what options I considered, express your opinion, snow is just around the corner:

neshipovka quiet, more stable on the pavement. for urban driving,
but if you drive on snow and ice, you won’t find anything better than spikes

In snow, is studded better than non-studded?

Hello brother =) Make a choice based on the state of your roads! If you don’t clean and rolled snow and ice on the roads, and there are snowdrifts in the yards, then IMHO spikes are better (there is not much noise in the snow, but the patency is a little better). And if the roads are regularly cleaned and sprinkled with reagents, then I would choose Velcro (without spikes). I've lost 70-75 percent of the spikes in one winter, although the tires are good =)
