Noise isolation — Toyota Camry, 2.4 liter, 2007

For those who are afraid to do it yourself, do not be afraid! There is nothing complicated about this. Everything is taken apart quite easily, as well as assembled. Before that, I had a VAZ 2114 and Deu Lanos, so it’s much easier to do this in Toyota, at least it seemed to me so. Now briefly about the process. The materials that I used: stp 2 mm 6 sheets for vibration isolation and foam 2 meters for sound insulation, as well as anti-creak for gluing the joints of wooden linings.
How the door is disassembled:
1. We carefully take the silver trim of the handle with an awl and unscrew 2 screws.
2. Near the door opening handle, there is a black trim, we also hook it up and remove it, then unscrew the screw.
3. We pull the door card towards us until it comes out of the latches, when all the latches popped out, pull out the handle for opening the door inward, then pull the trim to the top (there is the last barrier, the iron latches that go between the seal and the metal) and you have it all in your hands .
4. Turn off the window lift module.
Rear shelf:
1. Throw off the seat and remove the rear seat, just pull to the top at the edges.
2. Unscrew the side cushions from the bottom of one bolt, then pull to the top and they come out.
3. Now you can remove the side racks, they are latched.
4. We begin to pull the shelf to the top until it will be possible to put something (in my case it is a thick file) to lift it to the top. When all the latches are removed, we raise the shelf a little, turn off the additional stop signal.
5. If you want to completely remove the shelf, you will need to remove the seats, unscrew the seat belts and pull out the plastic lining on the shelf itself, now we pull out the belts through the holes and the shelf is free.
Trunk:
There, in principle, the carpet on 2 latches, you remove them and pull it back so that you have access to the wings. I also unscrewed the self-tapping screw from the hook under the mesh and on the left side a niche for the service book, but this is to facilitate the removal of the carpet.
On the front console, it would probably be better to explain from the pictures.
