Additional devices and a rack for them. — Toyota Celica, 1.8 liter, 1999

      Toyota Celica 18 1999

As time went on, the struggle with the insurance did not stop and I wanted to change something else in the car. So that it not only brings beauty, but also benefits After reading the manuals, I found out that my engine is very afraid of oil starvation and the elevators still work due to pressure, so the oil had to be monitored in all driving ranges. I decided to install additional devices. I really wanted to screw up 5 devices: a voltmeter, coolant temperature, oil temperature, oil pressure and mixture quality. To my regret, the width and slope of the rack did not allow me to correctly place them and there were only 4 devices left, the quality of the mixture was not established. I would have to buy it in addition, I already had the rest of the devices. The podium for the instruments had to be partially made by myself, having removed a copy from the podium for the “tens”, they had to be cut into pieces, then glue one at a time to the rack so that the devices are all visible and do not block each other. After this operation, a person from ANT aligned them into a single whole for me. The question arose of refining the podiums, I didn’t really want to paint, and it’s not very beautiful to cover with a carpet, a friend from FLOCKAUTO.RU helped me in this matter
flocked in black, it turned out very aesthetically pleasing. After installing additional devices, it became difficult to connect them, or rather, with devices that are responsible for oil. I couldn't find spacers for my motor. One of the club members had to order through their channels to have it carved in the city of Kostroma. After a while, the spacer was in my hands, but not quite suitable for my motor. Having finalized what is called a “file”, she took her place and all the sensors worked as they should.
