Catalyst — Toyota Celica, 1.8 liter, 1999

Once, I was driving myself, and suddenly my eyes noticed a yellow light from under the steering wheel. I look, and this chekenjin caught fire! I came home, studied the forums and realized that most often this error appears due to a malfunctioning catalyst. I found instructions on how to make a snag on the second lambda so that the error disappears.
I did everything, removed the battery terminals, thereby throwing off the error. Ride a couple of days - the error did not appear.

I was pleased, but something needs to be done with the catalytic. it was decided to cut it out and replace it with a flame arrester. Everything was done in an office that deals with exhaust systems.
