Rear spoiler: possible options - Toyota MR-S, 1.8 liter, 2003
Hello, dear friends-drivers! I want to know your opinion about the rear spoiler — many have already spoken, so I decided to make a separate entry in the BZ.
I will not hide, for a long time I myself could not decide: I like it or not - leave it or take it off. Let me remind you that it was installed by the first owner (in Japan).
On the one hand, a beautiful JDM thing that clearly fulfills its functions (I was convinced of this during a trip from Novosibirsk - at a speed of over 140 km / h, the car keeps the road just fine). Real carbon fiber, a few adjustments, in general, it is immediately clear that it is not Chinese consumer goods.
On the other hand - IMHO, it does not quite fit into the overall design of the car. A body kit, a carbon fiber hood (in continuation of the topic), wheels with a “shelf†and ultra-low-profile tires and other attributes of an uncompromising “cramp†are clearly asking for it.
I offer for your strict judgment several options regarding his future fate:
1. Leave as is
2. Cover it with a white film in body color
3. Put a spoiler from TTE (Toyota Team Europe). I really like this option myself. Of the minuses - the price, but this is rather not a minus of the spoiler itself :-)
4. Perhaps you are ready to offer your own version.

The one that is is clear that the functionality. in general, it is difficult to imagine what kind of spoiler is suitable here, but the fact is that it should be. without him it would be empty.
perhaps it would be interesting to have something like a spoiler from the supra (I mean style), only lower, of course. so that it smoothly and concisely emphasizes the torso of the machine.
although I'm generally not a fan of unnecessary details, so I was looking for a trunk lid without a spoiler.

this spoiler may be a good carbon fiber but it doesn't fit at all.

About stylish and without kitsch ... Well, think for yourself, the car is now in Clean Look style. Resp. all elements of other body kits, etc. out of the big picture. Veil Side is good because it kind of emphasizes the feet, however, like the TRD Stage 1.
