It seems that nature has decided this winter to give us the entire supply of precipitation at once. It has been snowing almost non-stop for several days now. On the roads, the ass is full - they don’t have time to clean it. And if it’s still bearable in the city — the speed is not high and the lighting helps — then driving along the highway is really dull.
Now I was driving along my usual route Kemerovo - Topki and instead of the usual 20-30 minutes I spent an hour and a half to two hours on the road. It is not possible to go more than 70 - it drags. Snowstorm - visibility is zero, the roadside is not visible. Halfway through, the wipers were completely frozen over with ice. Stopped to clean them. I tapped on the passenger one to beat off the ice - the brush fell off the mount :( I fixed it in place for half an hour - many new obscene phrases were born in my head. Somehow, having restored the functionality of the wipers, I drove on.
Having driven a couple of kilometers, I saw in the mirror that the pelvis of the sixth model was catching up with me. Goes to overtake. Remembering the rule of three D, I slow down to skip it. When he caught up with me, I looked in his direction and saw in the light of his headlights that there was a snowdrift in the oncoming lane, which he demolishes with his bumper. I understand that he is starting to be dragged in my direction and that he will not be able to pull the car, because it is rear-wheel drive. Cursing out loud, I press the sneaker to the floor, the car is slipping, but thanks to the torso it still accelerates a little. Dodged. Six deploys across the road. I stop, look in the mirror - the basin did not reach the fence quite a bit - I was lucky. The basin begins to turn around, everything is in order - you can go further. He didn’t overtake anymore, it seems that he realized that the second time luck might not smile at him.
This trip cost me a lot of nerves, but still I got home safely.
