Changed shoes for the winter — logbook Toyota Land Cruiser 2007
In anticipation of winter, I changed the shoes of my horse. I bought Dunlop Grandtrek SJ winter tires in the first store with a dimension of 285 / 60R18.
The manufacturer promises some unrealistic properties of this model on ice and snow… Hmm… Let’s see… We don’t have snow yet…

It's pure "road". It's even strange, with such a hobby they usually take A / T at least (after all, it is an all-season, and there are studded models).
Expeditions will have different tires. As for the spikes, I don’t put them on principle. It doesn't take long for them to be really needed.
I had such tires on a Pajero, you can’t imagine better for the winter ... It has proven itself only from the best side!
It's worth the same! Road on snow and ice keeps excellent! It was somehow a small competition ... A friend on 105 and I Padzherik from a place in the same hill - I climbed without slipping, and he polished it! Well, maybe it's because of the design differences, but neither he nor I had an LSD diff.
I go to this for the 4th winter, on Khitril. On icy country roads, sometimes there are not enough spikes, but for the city it’s the most)
I also bought one, everyone screams JEEP Spikes ... I say it makes no difference when it comes to F, then everyone rows almost the same ... but for the summer I took STT Coper.
